What are Sheriff Explorers?
The Sheriff Explorers is a program for young men and women ages 14-21 who would like to explore a career in law enforcement.
Mission Statement
It is the mission of the Ellis County Sheriff's Office Explorer Program to enable young people to become responsible individuals by teaching positive character traits, career development, leadership, and life skills so they can make ethical choices and achieve their full potential. Ellis County Sheriff Explorers promote learning and leadership activities for youths ages 14-21 by providing firsthand experiences training, education for future law enforcement career, and awarding scholarships for continuing education, as well as serving in other public and charitable activities.
